General Questions

What is Black Vegan Travel?

Black Vegan Travel, is a on-line travel company that curate group travel events and sell them to our target audience. Black Vegan Travel owned by Hope4More™ Travel, LLC. Black Vegan Travelis not a travel agency. 

Is Hope4More™ Travel a certified and licensed company?

Yes, we are accredited with IATAN. We also licensed and bonded in WA, FL and CA and carry Error & Omissions insurance.

What are your hours?

We are available via email all times of the day and on weekends. We respond very quickly via email at BlackVeganTravel@gmail.com.

Do you provide travel quotes for private trips?

Sorry but we do not provide quotes for individuals or groups.

Trip Questions

Who can attend these group trips?

Our trips are for vegan and vegan-curious travelers looking for high quality experiential travel experience that will immerse them in the local culture and uphold their vegan values while acknowledging the uniqueness of traveling while Black.

Is all the food vegan?

Yes, we seek out and vet all meals to make sure they are fully vegan. We understand that the biggest fustration of traveling while vegan is having to research and plan meals so on our trips we do all the work for you.

If you are not vegan and feel the need to seek out meat. fish, etc while on the trip, we ask that you don’t bring it back to our communal spaces. Also please note, some hotels don’t allow outside food on property.

What is included in the group trips?

Our group trips include luxury accommodations, 3 meals per day with non-alcoholic beverages, one excursion, one hands-on food demonstration or cooking class, ground transportation and more as mentioned in the trip details.

Reservation Questions

Can I make reservations on an event after the payments have begun?

Yes, you can make reservations for any event at any time as long as the reservations are still open. You will need to make the first deposit and then every month make monthly payments.

What happens after I make my reservation?

Once you make your reservation, you will receive an account summary. Your account summary will list your monthly payment plan. This is set up by default to charge your credit card every month, or you can choose to turn off the automatic monthly billing option.

After I make my first reservation, how do I make monthly payments?

You can make monthly payments several ways. Many of our clients are on auto-pay. But you can also visit our website home page, www.BlackVeganTravel.com  and click the “Account Login” link in the top right corner. You will also receive emails monthly regarding your payments and there will be a link to view your account history and make a payment if needed.

Do you provide roommate matching?

Yes, we has a Roommate Match Guarantee. This means we guarantee to match you with someone or you will have a single room without any additional cost. For more information, visit our Roommate Match Page.

What happens if my roommate drops out and cancel their reservations?

If your roommate cancels their reservations, your account will be adjusted to the package price according to the new occupancy in your room.

When will I receive the itinerary for my trip?

Itineraries are sent to each client 30 days before the event via email.

Payment Questions

What payments do you accept?

We accept online payments in the form Visa, Mastercard and Discover with a 3.5% processing fee. We also offer financing via Uplift.

Do you provide refunds?

No, we do not provide refunds nor do we transfer money. Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before reservation is accepted. To protect your investment, each and every client is encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

What happens if I make my payments, but my roommate(s) fail to pay?

You will be responsible for finding a new roommate or you must pay the additional cost for the room occupancy change.

Do I have to make a payment every month?

You should make every effort to make a payment every month. If you find yourself not being able to make a payment, please send us an email. If you fail to make a payment for 60 days without any communication to us, your reservations will automatically cancel.

What is Uplift?

Uplift gives you the freedom to purchase what you want now and pay over time with simple fixed installments. Some plans include interest while some are interest-free. Shop on any of our partner websites and when you’re ready to check out, just select “Uplift” as your payment method, complete a short application, and receive a quick decision. Choose the terms of your payment plan, finish checking out, and enjoy your purchase. Then, pay over time with simple, no-surprise monthly payments.

Who can apply for travel financing through Uplift Pay Monthly?

To qualify, any applicant must be:
– Traveling on the itinerary; – 18 years old or older;
– U.S. resident (possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number);
– Possess and MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit or debit card (for first payment);
– Possess a United States mobile phone number and smart phone

How long does the approval process take?

After entering a few personal details and submitting the application, the approval decision takes just seconds. Your guest will know immediately about the approval decision.

Automatic Billing Questions

What is automatic billing?

Automatic billing is used to pay the entire remaining balance of your reservation via automatic billing. This can be done with one credit card to cover the entire balance of your reservation.

How does automatic billing work?

You are automatically enrolled in our automatic billing plan when you select monthly payment plans. You can relax knowing that your future payments will be made automatically. When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided automatic billing plan for you and you will know in advance the day of every month that you payment will be processed. Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and you future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no charge.

You can opt-out of automatic billing by sending an email to us after you make your reservations. Please send email to BlackVeganTravel@gmail.com

What are the advantages of automatic billing?

It’s convenient and free. Payments are automatic and evenly divided. No chance of forgetting to pay, cancellation of your reservation or being assessed a late fee.

Will Black Vegan Travel™ & Hope4More™ Travel remind me before I am charged?

Yes, we will email you payment reminders the beginning of every month if you are enrolled in our automatic billing plan. You will also receive an email confirmation after each payment is processed every month.

How many payments will I have and when will they be due?

Payments will be monthly on or about the same day of the month you made your first payment. The number of payments is based on how many months there are from the time you book to the final payment date. You will see your exact payment plan before you make your payment.

Does Black Vegan Travel™ & Hope4More™ Travel keep my credit card information safe?

Black Vegan Travel™ & Hope4More™ Travel’s online merchant company complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the major card brands to facilitate consistent data security measures. In order to protect your information, we do not store your credit card information, but for guests enrolled in automatic billing our credit card processing company does.

What if a credit card is declined during the payment plan?

When a card is declined during your monthly payment plan, we will attempt to charge your card two days later. If your card is declined a second time, you will receive an email to make a payment immediately or your reservations will cancel.

What if a credit card expires or a new credit card is issued during the payment plan?

When a card has expired or if you would like to add a new credit card to your plan, you can always log into your account and make payment option changes.
